Valid for iPadOS 13.0 and higher
The "Mirror Display Auto-Lock" function is not supported in the new iPadOS version anymore. Please, set the "Display Auto-Lock" function to "Never".
Set up Guided Access on iPad
Tab Settings > Accessibility > Guided Access
Turn Guided Access on.
Set a passcode that controls the use of Guided Access and prevents someone from leaving an active session.
Set the Display Auto-Lock function to Never.
Start a Guided Access session
To start a Guided Access session:
Open MeetingRoomApp.
Triple-click on the Home button.
Adjust settings for the session.
Click on Start.
End a Guided Access session
Triple-click on the Home button.
Enter the Guided Access passcode.
iOS 12.4.2 and lower
In iOS 12.1.1, Apple has added a new setting under Guided Access Mode called Mirror Display Auto-Lock. When it is turned on, Guided Access Mode will obey the setting in Display & Brightness. When off, the screen will turn off after 20 minutes of inactivity.
