These instructions apply to models with Android below:
Qbic TD-1050 (Lite, Pro and any other versions)
Qbic TD-1060
Prerequisites
Default Password to set some features, you need to enter the password 1234 or 111111.
Connect tablet to Wi-Fi or Ethernet (recommended) with an internet connection.
Ethernet
After you select the Ethernet connection, the next screen prompts you to select an IP mode, eg. DHCP. Then tap on ◁ on the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen to go back to the main screen.
Wi-Fi
For Wi-Fi connection, tap on the Off/On switch to change it to On on the next screen.
Then log in to your company secured Wi-Fi network. Once you are logged in, tap on ◁ on the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen to go back to the main screen.
To install MeetingRoomApp:
First you need to get application file:
Log in to https://login.meetingroomapp.com/.
Click on Qbic TD-1050 logo on the right.
Copy the application onto USB memory stick.
Insert USB memory stick.
Go to Settings.
Tap on Storage.
Open the inserted USB memory stick in Portable storage.
Change the default view of files by tapping on the icon at the top right corner.
Open the app-qbic-release.apk file you copied onto the USB memory stick.
After the file opens, a dialog window pops up warning you the device blocks installation of apps from unknown sources.
Continue to tap on the Settings button.
This will take you to the Security section.
Tap on the Unknown sources switch to allow installation of apps from unknown sources.
Tap on OK to confirm the warning message that appears on the screen.
Tap on ◁ on the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen to go back to the previous screen.
Open the app-qbic-release.apk file again and install the app (the Install button).
Tap on Done to complete the installation.
After that, setting up the Kiosk mode is recommended.
That will make MeetingRoomApp always active and toggling between other apps will not be allowed.
