Intune Configuration with MeetingRoomApp

Intune Company Portal app will allow to perform the following actions:

  • Monitor mobile devices

  • Deploy software to mobile devices

  • Enable access to company resources

  • Configure security policy for mobile devices

  • Help protect your data with remote wipe, lock or passcode reset

Prerequisites:

Configure MDM Push Certificate

  1. Click Devices

  2. Click on iOS / iPadOS

  3. Click on iOS / iPadOS enrollment

  4. Select Apple MDM Push Certificate

  5. Check the agreement

  6. Click on Download your CSR

  7. Click on Create your MDM Push Certificate

  8. You will be redirected on the Apple Push Certificate Portal

  9. Login with your Apple ID or create one

  10. Click on Create a Certificate

  11. Check the "I have read and agree to these terms and conditions" check box

  12. Click on Accept

  13. Upload the .CSR file you created in the step 7

  14. The certificate is now created and available for download. The certificate is valid for 1 year

  15. Go back to the Configure MDM Push Certificate page

  16. Enter your Apple ID

  17. Upload the MDM Push Certificate

How to install Intune Company Portal on iPad

  1. First, open the App Store on your iPad and search for the Intune Company Portal.

  2. Once you have found the app, tap on the "Get" button to download and install it on your device.

  3. After the app has been installed, open it and sign in with your Microsoft account.

  4. Once you are signed in, you will be asked to enroll your device in Microsoft Intune. Tap on the "Enroll" button to continue.

  5. Next, you will be asked to enter your corporate email address. Enter the email address provided by your organization and tap on the "Sign in" button.

  6. You will then be prompted to enter your corporate password. Enter your password and tap on the "Sign in" button to continue.

  7. After you have successfully signed in, you will be asked to accept the terms and conditions for using Microsoft Intune. Tap on the "Accept" button to continue.

  8. Your device will then be enrolled in Microsoft Intune and you will be able to access your organization's resources and apps through the app.

MeetingRoomApp Remote Install Configuration

  1. Click on Apps

  2. Click on All Apps

  3. Click on Add

  4. Select iOS store app (as app type)

  5. Click on Search the App Store

  6. Type in MeetingRoomApp Booking System

  7. Click on the MeetingRoomApp Booking System

  8. Click on select button

  9. Change the Minimum operating system to iOS 9.0

  10. Click on Next

  11. Configure your device group for which devices you want the app to be installed

  12. Click on Next

  13. Click on Create

MeetingRoomApp Remote Install

  1. Click on Devices

  2. Click on iOS/iPadOS

  3. Select a device you want to install the MeetingRoomApp

  4. Click on Sync

  5. Go to the iPad

  6. Click on Install

  7. The MeetingRoomApp will be installed on your iPad

iPad Kiosk Mode

  1. Click on Devices

  2. Click on iOS/iPadOS

  3. Click on Configuration profiles

  4. Click on Create profile

  5. As profile type, select Templates

  6. Click on Device restrictions

  7. Click on Create

  8. Configure a name (e.g. Kiosk)

  9. Click on Next

  10. Click on Kiosk

  11. Configure the Kiosk mode as shown below

  12. URL of app for kiosk mode:

  13. Click on Next

  14. Add all devices or Add a specific Group of devices

  15. Click on Next

  16. Click on Create

  17. Go to iOS/iPadOS devices

  18. Select each device

  19. Click on sync
